Undertaken as a pro bono initiative supported by Round Table India and Procter & Gamble, the School at Barotiwala, Baddi is envisioned as a transformation of a dilapidated structure into a safe, functional, and inspiring learning environment.

The design approach focuses on strengthening the existing built fabric while addressing critical aspects of safety, usability, and environmental comfort. Structural improvements, better spatial organization, and enhanced light and ventilation ensure the school is welcoming and conducive to learning.

At the heart of the intervention is the idea of inspiration through space. A handcrafted artwork depicting a boy unveiling a world of possibilities becomes a central narrative element encouraging children to imagine futures beyond their immediate realities.
